I did it. I made reservations for the Texas Baptist Ministers of Education Retreat. We have no conference/convention expense this year so I am paying for it all myself, but I am going. I missed last year partly due to being without a pastor. It wasn’t that I wasn’t allowed to go, sometimes there are [...]

Who is Frank Wallace?
You don’t know Frank Wallace. I met Frank, oh my gosh, a while back at the Texas Baptist Minister of Education Retreat in Salado. He is a networking man. I had joined him and his crew for lunch at the retreat. Outside of the [...]

This morning Beth Ann and I were invited to the President’s Community Prayer Breakfast at Baylor. Dr. David Hardage, now the Director of Development for Truett Seminary, invited us to sit at the Truett Seminary table (table # 8 – on the front row). We were up early this morning, but it was worth [...]

I received my Outreach magazine today and found an article for Ben Stein’s movie Get Expelled coming out in February. I am interested in seeing the movie. Like most Christians I will jump on the Intelligent Design (ID) wagon. The movie website lists news articles concerning ID and I was surprised to see a [...]
